YAMS is a fun and relaxing society game, related to other games like Yahtzee, Yatzy, Yacht, Generala or Poker dice,
played by a minimum of two people using five dice.
The goal is to make the most points by selecting the optimum dice combination,
according to a predefined sheet.
There are many versions of dice games developed through the years in different regions,
and they have many common elements. We have developed this online version of YAMS
that we have been playing in our family for years.
The difference between this variety of YAMS and the other dice games
stands in the type of required combinations, the steps order, and the score system.
This online game can be played on any device with a web browser connected to the internet,
either locally when a single device is shared by multiple players in the same room,
or remotely between players situated in separate locations.
When played locally, the users can choose between rolling the virtual dice
included in the game, or playing real physical dice, while using the app
to record and calculate their points.
